District Cup

Day 1:

Today I had a soccer tournament, one of my first tournaments in comp. My team came into this tournament not thinking too positive. We all for some reason thought we were going to do VERY bad. So our first game was at eight this morning and we started out alright but as the game went on, we were playing so bad. The other team was dominating us and we just couldn't pull ourselves together. The game was tied 0-0 at halftime and we were all pretty frustrated. Towards the end of second half, we got very lucky and my teammate Elle centered the ball, and Tori ducked and it hit the back of her head and went in. It was a total accident but hey, it was a goal(: We ended up winning that game 1-0 putting us in second place. Our second game was much better. We played one of the better teams out of the three that we play but we played so much better. We all stepped up our game and it definitely showed. In the second half , Sarah centered the ball, and Tori, yet again, scored our first and only goal. We won this game too with another shut out putting us in first place! We have a game tomorrow, and if we win that, we're in the championships. I really hope we do a good job..
