Ever since district cup a couple weeks ago, my team has been doing really well and have been on a winning streak. I think getting second place in the tournament got all of our hopes up and we got a little too confident. What is really annoying is that no one goes to practices anymore because they always have an excuse or they just don't come just because. Do they really think we can win just like that without any practice? When 8-9 out of 16 girls come to practice, only have of us actually get to work on the things we should be doing in games. This weekend we played the second place team, and a team we beat 3-1 in district cup. Like I said, we got a little too confident when we played the team we beat last time. We all said, "This game will be easy. We've been them once we can beat them again". Unfortunately, we lost both games this weekend. We only have two games left this season, but I hope this weekend kind of taught all of my team a lesson that we all need to go to practice and work on everything because if we don't, it'll kill us when games come around.
